Pull a Bus. Lift Stones. Challenge Yourself.

No experience required. Just bring your curiosity, a sense of humour, and a willingness to have a go.

Full joining instructions, event details and the final activity lineup will be shared with registered participants closer to the event.

This event is sponsored by Commodities People, so attendance is free. However, places are highly limited and are exclusively available to registered attendees of Energy Trading Week Europe.

About the Club

As part of the growing Energy Trading Week Olympics initiative, we're bringing together professionals from across the commodities and energy sector to experience one of the most unique and enjoyable strength sports around.

Hosted at The Commando Temple in Deptford, London, these sessions are designed to be welcoming, social and accessible for complete beginners through to experienced lifters.

What to Expect

The session will last approximately 60–90 minutes and will be led by expert coaches, including a former London's Strongest Man champion.

Activities may include:

  • Bus pull and push
  • Natural stone lifting
  • Atlas stones
  • Log press
  • Circus dumbbell
  • Meathook deadlift
  • Other classic Strongman & Strongwoman events

Every exercise can be adapted to suit different strength and experience levels.

Who Can Join?

The session is open to all attendees of Energy Trading Week Europe working across the commodities and energy sectors.

No previous Strongman or Strongwoman experience is required, and you certainly don't need to consider yourself "strong" to take part. The session is designed to be inclusive, with coaching tailored to all abilities and exercises adapted to suit each participant.

Whether you're looking to challenge yourself, try something completely different or simply meet fellow industry professionals outside the conference, you'll be in good company.

Places are intentionally limited to approximately 10–12 participants to ensure everyone receives plenty of coaching, support and hands-on instruction throughout the session.
